Robert Benson Tufte, 81, of Clarence, NY died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Tufte was born December 9, 1926 in Lackawanna , NY and was a winter resident of Vero Beach for 15 years coming from Clarence, NY.
Prior to his retirement he had been the purchasing Director for the Williamsville School District. Mr. Tufte was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Jeanne F. Tufte of Clarence, NY and Vero Beach; sons Robert Tufte, Jr of Clarence, NY and David Tufte of Cedar City, UT and five grandchildren.
