Robert J. Wood, 70, of Vero Beach, FL passed away on March 6, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born December 16, 1943 in Chicago, IL and had been a resident until moving to Vero Beach 4 years ago.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era.
Bob was the owner and operator of R.J. Wood & Associates since 1978. He was also a member and the current Treasurer of The Italian American Civic Association of Vero Beach.
Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara; daughters, Ann Wood and Ellen Connolly, and six grandchildren, all of Chicago, IL. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Sharon Marback.
A gathering will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at The Italian American Civic Association, 1600 25th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960, with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vero Beach Humane Society.
