Roger N. Haberman, 90, went to be with his Lord on December 13 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Born in Juda, WI, he graduated from UW- Madison, WI and served in the US Army as an officer in WWII.
For many years he resided in Elm Grove, WI where he had a successful career in the foundry industry in both WI and MI. He retired in Stuart, FL where he followed his passion for golf. He also loved travel, bridge, and playing with his grandchildren. He boasted of waterskiing at 74.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Marjorie, children, Susan Gordon (Bill) and Peter (Barb), eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Stocking, his parents, Edwin and Minnie Haberman, and his sisters, Regina Chambers and Isabel Matzke.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at The Lakes at Pointe West in Vero Beach, FL.
