Roland Pat E. Privey, 84, of Golden Ponds, Fort Pierce, FL died Friday, July 10, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Privey was born March 15, 1925 in Allenstown, NH and moved to Fort Pierce in 1988 from Hooksett, NH.
He worked for the Genest Baking Co. for 36 years before retiring to work for the State of New Hampshire. Mr. Privey was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, the Moose Lodge, the Snowshoe Club.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Mary J. Privey; sons Duncan Young of Eastham, MA, Roland Edward Young of St. Petersburg, FL and Thomas R. Privey of Dunedin, FL; daughters Constance Lee Young Wimp of St. Petersburg, FL and Carol Anne Gayle of Lake Charles, LA; step-son John Rose of Randolph, VT; step-daughters Barbara McTague of Zephyrhills, FL and Beverly Rose of Concord, NH; sisters Jean Woods of Vero Beach, FL and Betsy Richard of Largo, FL; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his step-son Michael Rose in 2002.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated at St. Anastasia Catholic Church at a later date. Interment will take place a Mt. St. Benedict in Bloomfield, CT.
