Former Indiana and Texas resident Ronald Lee Miller, 68, passed away March 19, 2015 at his home in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Ronnie was born on June 6, 1946 to Vina Louise (Porter) and Claude Eugene Miller in Muncie, Indiana. Ron was a kind soul who brought smiles and laughter to all those he knew. He never met a stranger.

In 1964, Ron married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Jean Morford. They had four precious daughters. Even after divorce the pair remained forever friends.

In 1980, Ron moved his daughters to San Antonio, Texas with his second wife, Carol Jean Kelso and daughter Teresa. Later they were all joined by his parents and his brother Robert Eugene Miller. After the passing of his beloved parents he moved to Florida where he joined his life long best friend Steve Kramer in Ft. Pierce. Here he met Sandy Sauer, his partner in crime, significant other, and final wife in life.

Ron underwent triple bypass surgery in early March and seemed to be on his way to recovery. Sadly, the day he returned home he peacefully passed away in his favorite chair.

Ron is survived by his love Sandy; daughter Laura Lee and wife Kristi, granddaughter Elexandra and grandsons Reece and Robert (2000); daughter Holly Joy and grandson Brandon Tyler and granddaughter Abigail (1991); daughter Brandy Lynn and husband Adam, grandsons Trey and Clayton and great grandsons Jadin and Benjamin; daughter Amber Jo and husband Greg, grandsons Kyron Lee and Craigie and granddaughter Amani (2001); step daughter Teresa Marie and grandsons Kyle and Brent and granddaughter Ami. Ron was also a great role model to several men who shared time with his treasured family: Erik, Rodney, Todd, and Ken. He will be dearly missed by all of his family, friends and community. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of the Beaches, Spanish Lakes Fairway Team.
