Nickname of Hole #15 at Barton, VT Golf Course

Rosaire C Voyer, beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2022 at the age of 85.  Rosaire was born in Lowell, VT. He served in the US Navy in damage control. After his four years of service, he returned to Vermont.

He married Claire Blais in 1962 and moved to Barton, VT and eventually moved to St. Johnsbury, VT.  He became a Florida resident in 1997 after retiring as a product engineer at Greenfield Industries, formerly, Vermont Tap and Die in Lyndonville, VT.

Rosaire was an avid golfer, bowler and card player for most of his life.  He had a close, loving relationship with his sons and was a super grandfather to his six grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Claire; sons, Maurice (Mo) and wife Sharon of Ortonville, MI and their children, Thomas, John and Kelsey; and Marcel and his wife Vicki of Baldwinsville, NY and their children Melissa, Michelle and Joshua; sisters Germaine Beliveau, Gloria Durocher and husband Lawrence, Annette Royer and husband Andrew, Sr Elaine Voyer; and brothers John Jr and wife Brenda and Gerard and wife Louise, sisters-in-law Joyce and Mary.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Baptiste and Gladys Voyer, sisters Eugenie Hebert and husband William, Rosealma Chmielecki and husband Lucian, Jeannette Garrett and husband Ralph, Theresa Rivers and husband Harlan, Sr Roseanna Voyer and brothers Eugene and wife Theresa, Louis, Arthur and wife Alice, Emile, Lawrence, and Lucien, brothers-in-law Norman Tetreault and Reginald Beliveau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his beloved St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Go to " fundraising.stjude.org " and select "find a fundraiser" (bottom of screen) and type Voyer in "Last Name" and it will find the "Rosaire (Rosie) Voyer Memorial Fund".  Many bike-a-thons were done by Rosaire including raising $3378 in 1992.
