Rose Achorn's Obituary
Rose Marie Allbaugh Achorn, 69, of Vero Beach died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Consulate Healthcare of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Achorn was born December 13, 1942 in Gilead Township, OH. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1987, coming from Rockland, ME.
Rose served in the United States Navy.
She was a member of the First Church of God.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Vietnam Veterans.
Survivors include her sons Roland A. Achorn III of Vero Beach and Roger Allen Achorn of Rockland, ME; daughter Coral Mae VanValkenburg of Vero Beach; sisters, Peggy Greene of Bakersville, NC, Sandra McBride and Dorothy McBride both of Mansfield, OH, Margaret M. Poland and Helen Caldwell both of Mt. Vernon, OH; brother Paul Sheehe of Mansfield, OH; and two granddaughters Bianca and Kaitlin of Vero Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of Roland A. Achorn Jr; sisters, Shirley Brumenshenkel, Mary Alice Farnsworth; and brothers Tom Sheehe and Malcom Sheehe.
Services will be held at a later date.
