Rose Marie Bogardus born to Paul and Rosaria Mole on December 2, 1929 in Jamestown, NY passed away on March 18th, 2019 in Vero Beach, FL after a prolonged illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis L. Bogardus, daughter Rosalia Bogardus, and 2 grandchildren – Timmy Trask and Samantha Jo Bogardus, all brothers and sisters, as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Rose is survived by her children – Suzanne (Dave) Trask; Timothy (Caroline) Bogardus; Mary (Dave) Gore and Thomas (Dana) Bogardus. Grandchildren include Amy & David Trask; Louie, Michael, Richard, & Nathan Bogardus; Roseann Stippich; Mark & Aaron King; Briana Roberts; Steven Anderson; Stephanie & Joseph Gore; Jesten & Beau Trask; Alexia Nelson; Andrea James; Aura, Sara, Anthony, Giana & Gemma Petrick; as well as, 20 great grandchildren.

Rose has been a resident of Vero Beach for 45 years. She worked for Indian River National Bank prior to Mike's Furniture as a receptionist and customer service. She was loved by all that knew her and has touched the hearts of many. Her passions were cooking, baking cookies, and playing her Hammond organ.

Rose was a member of ST. Helen Catholic Church and a member of the choir for many years where she loved to sing.
