Rose Delaporte, 84, of Barefoot Bay, died on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Palm Bay Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey and moved to Barefoot bay 25 years ago from Manahawkin, New Jersey
Mrs. Delaporte was a homemaker and administrative assistant, having worked for N.J. Bell and Burroughs Corporation. She was affiliated with St. Francis Catholic Church in Newark and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bloomfield, N.J.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James J. Delaporte, Jr. of Barefoot Bay, sons James J. Delaporte,III of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, George Delaporte of Manahawkin, NJ and John Delaporte of Ft. Pierce, FL, twin sister Marie Gliet of Barefoot Bay, brother Frank Funicelli, Jr. Of Concordia, NJ, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
Rose was predeceased by her son Frank Delaporte.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2010, at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, FL.
