Rose Mary Mauro, 80, of Spanish Lakes Country Club, Ft. Pierce, FL died Friday, March 13, 2009 at her home..
Mrs. Mauro was born June 18, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1985 from her place of birth.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and had been a dietician for a nursing home in Brooklyn.
Survivors include her son Ferdinando Mauro of Ft. Pierce; son Joseph Mauro of Staten Island, NY; brother Frank Tamburello of Amityville, NY; twin sister Virginia Tamburello of California and Mary Tamburello of Baldwin, NY; and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Paulino T. Mauro.
Services: The family will receive friends 5-8 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce.
