Rose Pollard, 87, of Ft. Pierce, FL. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 22, 2015.

Rose was born in Woonsocket, RI and is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mary Sorokaty, brother Walter, sister Ann Solokowski. She graduated in 1948 from the White Plains Hospital School of Nursing, White Plains NY, and was a Registered Nurse for 42 years before retiring to Spanish Lakes Fairways in 1991.

She was an avid tennis player and golfer, and a member of the SLF Tennis and Golf Clubs for many years. Other activities included Bridge, Scrabble, and a love of reading. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Christopher: son Dr. Kevin Pollard (Cathy) of Denver, CO, daughter Karen Pollard-Batchelor(Brant) of Jacksonville, FL, and two grandchildren: Courtney and Christopher of Denver CO.
