Rosemary Alexander, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 29, 2015 at IRMC. She was born on September 17, 1927 to Frank and Mary DeLaurentis. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph DeLaurentis. She owned and operated several Hair Salons in Vero Beach and also held a CNA License. She loved reading, cooking, baking, plants and flowers, birds and many crafts. Her family and her friends were graced by her gifts of homemade mints, fine needlework, crochet, needlepoint, smocking and handmade cards and ornaments. Above all else, she loved the Lord. She is survived by her daughter, June Jacobs of Vero Beach; son, Jim (Jeanne) Moretti of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Sandi (Ray) Reinhard, Wendy (Kevin) Lawhon, Daryl (Shauna) Jacobs II, Angela Moretti and Michael (Lacee) Moretti; 7 great granddaughters, Leah Reinhard, Jordan Lawhon, Kristin Lawhon, Lauren Lawhon, Jacey Jacobs, Lyla Jacobs and Mia Moretti. A time of visitation and refreshments will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 PM.
