Obituary

Ross Currie, 77, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008 after a long struggle with cancer, with his daughter Cathy and wife Betty close to his side.
Ross was born in Ferndale, MI June 13, 1930, went to Ferndale High School and graduated from the University of Michigan. He was stationed at Otis AFB during the Korean war. He worked for Price Waterhouse Accounting, Wolf Research and Development and MAC Consulting in Cambridge, MA from 1970-1993 after which he retired to Orleans, MA.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife of 41 years, Nancy Boone Currie.
Survivors include wife, Betty Brownville Currie of Vero Beach and Cape Cod, her children Harrison and Brenda Day and Jennifer Day of Boca Raton, Elizabeth and Quincy Carvel of Vero Beach. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, Caroline and Kathryn Carvel and Chandler Day, brother-in-law David Brownville and his wife Audrey of Brewster, MA.
Ross was a member of Rotary Club of Nauset in Orleans and The Rotary Club of Orchid Island. He was a Paul Harris Fellow. He also belonged to the Moorings Club and Yacht Club and Hyannis Yacht Club.
A private service to celebrate his life will be held overlooking Cape Cod Bay in Brewster, MA where Ross and Betty spent their summers. He was a man of incredible integrity, a true gentleman and left an impression on everyone he met.
