Roy Frank Misek 84 of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away February 19, 2015, at Willow Brook Court, a nursing facility at Indian River Estates in Vero Beach.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 14, 1930 Roy was the only son of Frank and Lottie Misek. He was a graduate of Roselle Park High in Roselle Park, N.J. and a 1952 graduate of The University of Vermont. He served in the United States Army Honor Guard at Fort Meyer,Virginia, from 1952 to 1954. For 17 years, he worked for GLF, a farmers' cooperative which later became Agway Inc. In 1972 he moved with his family to Northern Ontario where they owned and operated a wilder-ness lodge and canoe outfitting business. Florida was the next adventure where he established Clear-Vu Windshield Repair and operated it until his retirement.
Roy was predeceased by his parents, 3 older sisters and a daughter, Patricia Anne Misek, and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anne Costello Misek, two sons, David of Arcadia, Florida and Frank of Inverary, Ontario, Canada.

A memorial service is planned for this summer at Addison, Vermont, with burial in the West Addison Cemetery.
