Russell William Crawford (69), passed away November 24, 2016 with family by his side. Russ proudly served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam, 1967-1968. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, and raised in Enfield, CT, he moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1992. He was a lifelong member of the Amvets in CT, the American Legion, and the Vietnam Veterans of America in FL. His hobbies were kayaking, fishing, camping, golfing, and crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his wife Lynne, daughter Kelley and son-in-law Dennis Ryburn, grandchildren Devon and Chelsea, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jackie and Tim Kutsin, brother-in-law and cousin Lou Baker, brother John and sister-in-law Melodye Crawford, sister Donna and brother-in-law Marshall Garrison, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A military honors ceremony will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to local military organizations.
