Ruth C. Axtell, 100, of Vero Beach, FL, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Axtell was born January 2, 1909 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Vero Beach in 1987 from Montclair, NJ.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Star Lodge in Newark, NJ.
Survivors include her daughter Dale Axtell of Cordova, TN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew C. Axtell and son Drew C. Axtell.
Service: A Celebration of her life will be held in Memphis, TN at a later date.
