Ruth C. Hoke, 79, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center.
Ms. Hoke was born August 15, 1930 in Laconia, Indiana and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 coming from Borden, Indiana.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Daisy Hill United Methodist Church, Daisy Hill, Indiana and the Mahjong Group at River Park Place.
Survivors include her sons, Marvin Hoke, Steven Hoke both of Vero Beach and a daughter, Karen Sue Eidem of Vero Beach, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hoke, brothers, J.W. Cook and James Cook and sisters, Mary (Cook) Jackson and Helen (Cook) Hasket.
Services: Ms. Hoke will be transferred to the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden, Indiana where the family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Friday, July 23, 2010. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Daisy Hill United Methodist Church with the family receiving friends from 12-2 pm prior to service. Burial will follow at Swayback Cemetery in Daisy Hill.
