Ruth G. Schruers' Obituary
Ruth G. Schruers, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Schruers was born September 26, 1917 in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Vero Beach in 1984 from Dayton, OH.
She was veteran serving during WW II in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Vero Beach Country Club, the Sea Grape Garden Club, Pi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Wally Schruers of Vero Beach; son Fred Schruers of Venice, CA; daughter Priscilla Mitchell of Belington, WA and one grandchild.
Services: There will be a memorial gathering 7-9 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
