Ruth P. Shelton, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, June 27, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Shelton was born November 16, 1918 in Chesterland,.OH moving to Vero Beach in 1973 from Melbourne, FL.
She had been an Industrial Secretary in Ohio before her retirement and was an avid gardener and nature lover.
Survivors include her son Richard Shelton, Jr. of League City, TX; brother Pete Petersen of Vero Beach; sister Alice Hruby of Vero Beach; brother Carl Petersen of Tucson, AZ; and two grandchildren.
Services: A private memorial celebration will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
