Sally Duch, 91, died July 11, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born and lived most of her life in Schenectady, New York. After her husband Henry was killed in action during World War II, she resided on Holland Road in Schenectady, NY and later at Shady Lane Apartments on RT 50 in Glenville, New York. She has been a Vero Beach resident at Horizon Bay for the last year and a half.
Before retirement as head teller, Mrs. Duch spent over twenty years at Trustco Bank. Prior to her tenure at the bank, she had worked for Bee Maintenance and Supply Company and
The Jo-Ann Shop.
Mrs. Duch was committed to her Roman Catholic Faith and a devout communicant at St Adalberts Church. She was a member of the Rosary Society, Altar Society as well as the Kalina Church Choir. Additionally, she spent many years as a volunteer at St Claires Hospital in Schenectady, NY
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mackie Duch of Vero Beach Florida; her grandchildren, Richard Dutch of Greensboro, North Carolina and Lisa and Brooke Delfini of Guilford, Connecticut as well as five great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Roy Lenz of Hobe Sound; sister-inlaw Irene Smith of Port St Lucy; niece, Debra Kessler of Hobe Sound; nephew Edward Bojarczuk of Malta, NY: grandnieces, Ann Farrell of Palm City and Colleen Messina of Balston Spa, New York: grandnephews Robert Cichocki of Alpharetta, Georgia, Erin Bojarczuk of San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Duch, her mother and father, Alexander and Josephine Saniewski as well as three sisters and one brother.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday July 25, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Iris Lane and South A1A, Vero Beach, Florida.
