Sally Thatcher Lane Braman, 78, of Vero Beach died Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Braman was born June 12, 1932 in New Haven, CT and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1994.
She attended Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut earning her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts.
Sally was a Colonial Dame and taught Honors History at Rosemary Hall in Greenwich, CT. She was an avid sailor, tennis player and traveler.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Chester, and her parents Frank and Vinetta Lane.
Survivors include her sons, , Will Braman of Wellesley, MA; Ned Braman of Nashville, TN; Tim Braman of Torrance, CA; sister, Ann Marshman of Darien, CT; and, seven grandchildren.
