Sally E. Reed's Obituary
Sally E. Reed, 99, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Reed was born July 10, 1912 in Marquette, MI and moved to Vero Beach in 2007 from Oakland, CA.
She had been employed by the University of California at Berkley as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Public Health prior to her retirement. Mrs. Reed was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include her daughter Jean E. Beckert, and her husband John, of Vero Beach, FL; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased her first spouse George Virta, her second spouse Robert E. Reed, and a sister Sadie Wheeler.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Retirement Center Memorial Fund, 1006 33rd Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: Interment will be in Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, CA.
