Samuel F. Holden, 93, of Vero Beach died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

He was born July 28, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 6 years, coming from Indian Town.

He served in the United States Air Force.

He worked as an appraiser in the real estate industry.

He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Seneida; sons, Frederick and Philip Holden; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
