Samuel M. Noyes, 77, of Vero Beach, Florida, died March 9, 2014 at his home.

He was born August 23, 1936 in Wheeling, WV and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 9 years, coming from Cleveland, OH.

Mr. Noyes was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he worked 30 years for Lufthansa Airlines.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Noyes is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edwina M. Noyes; son, Brad Noyes; daughters, Catherine Rodstein and Elizabeth (Eric) Peterson; brother, Richard Noyes and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Brad Noyes.

Family will receive friends 5-7pm, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon, Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
