Sara OConnel Svelling, 74, of Sebastian, died Friday, May 20, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born July 18, 1936 in Bangor, Maine. She had been a resident of Sebastian for 37 years, coming from Manahawkin, NJ.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Arnold; sons, Kris Svelling of Sebastian, Arnold Svelling Jr. Of Charleston, SC; daughters, Esther Svelling Cummins of Sebastian, Kristine Lanera of White Plains, NY; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Esther OConnel and her brother, Jeff O Connel No services are planned at this time.
