Sarah Elizabeth Corby, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Corby was born June 4, 1925 in Franklin, NJ. She was a resident of Vero Beach for 47 years, coming from Oak Ridge, NJ.
She was a member of Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach.
Elizabeth was the owner of the Happy Tavern in Fort Pierce. She had worked at Mrs Bs Restaurant in Vero Beach and for Dupont in New Jersey.
Survivors include her daughter Diane Honeycutt of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Carol Barkwell of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Iva May Norman of Franklin, NJ, son Allen Norman of CT; daughters Patti Baker and Peggy Connolly of Vero Beach, FL; son Mark Norman and James Norman of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Penny Kanter of Vero Beach, FL; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Corby.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
