Scott Michael Avent, (USAF, RET),52, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away December 21, 2016.
He was born July 18, 1964 in Burbank, CA to the late William and Patricia Avent.
Scott moved to Vero Beach 5 years ago coming from Sembach, Germany where he served in the United States Air Force. He retired from the USAF after serving 25 years, as Major.
He was a member of the Harley Owners Group "HOG" and the American Legion.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife of 33 years, Carole Avent of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Tori (Stephen) Hume of Vero Beach and Kelsie Avent of Vero Beach; son, Garrett (Chelsea) Avent of Lincoln, NE; sister, Robyn Bruce of Oak Park, CA; brother, Darin Avent of Las Vegas, NV and his beloved dog, Major.
A Funeral Serivce will be held 10:30am, Thursday, December 29th at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach with the burial to follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL. Full Military honors will begin at 2 pm at the cemetery.
