Sharon Kay Manfredo, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away October 2, 2020.

She was born December 18, 1938 at Peoria, Illinois to the late Freddie & Lucille Berry Pfrander.

Sharon moved to California after graduating from Manuel High School in 1956.

She retired from Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. (now Lockheed Martin) as Executive Assistant in 1978 after 19 years of service.

She attended St. Helen's Catholic Church and was a Member of the Columbiettes; the Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary.

Sharon loved the outdoors, whether camping, boating & skiing or fishing with her mother whenever she visited. She enjoyed wine tasting & attending 49er games or the gaming in South Lake Tahoe, Reno or Vegas. Her other pastimes included needle point, crocheting, ceramics, playing the organ & her weekly card games with her friends, Ed & Denise Sutter.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ralph P. Manfredo, to whom she married September 14, 1968; sisters, Phyllis White & Carol Brumm (Steve); step-daughter, Joanne Manfredo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary and Jim Verni; several nieces, nephews and two great nephews; special friends and caretaker in California , Mary Ellen Esparza (Art); and many other loving family & friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 20th, 11:00a.m. at

St. Helen's Catholic Church followed by interment in Crestlawn Cemetery at 12:30p.m.

The family will host a Celebration of Life reception once pandemic precautions suitable.
