Sheila Ida Penniall-Woods, was born Dec 2, 1926, in Southampton, England, passed away Dec 17 2014.
Daughter of William H. Penniall and Doris Hawkins-Penniall. Her family came to the United States in1930 aboard the Leviathan, at New York harbor. They came to Winfield, Illinois, where Sheila Penniall attended a one-room public school. She graduated West Chicago Community High School in 1944. She was a student at Northern Illinois University when she met Ervin Eugene Woods of Waterman, IL, and they married on Aug 30, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Woods. She is survived by her loving husband, and by her children: John C. Woods of Vero Beach, FL, David W. Woods of Sycamore, IL. Diane L. Malmgren of Waterman, IL. Doris E. Roy of Vero Beach, FL. Andrew E. Woods of Winfield, IL. Amy R. Woods of Vero Beach, FL.

From 1965 to 1973 Sheila Woods was managing editor of the Waterman Enquirer weekly newspaper. 1973 to 1976 she was editor of the Winfield Examiner. 1976 to 1989 she was society editor of the Glen Ellyn News.

From 1989 to 2002 she was secretariat the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach, FL.
