Shirley Jean Codd, 81 of Barefoot Bay, FL passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.
She was born February 21, 1928 in Land OLakes, WI and was a resident of Barefoot Bay since 1970 coming from Northern, MI.
Mrs. Codd was a realtor and former owner of Anchor (Marker I) Restaurant and the Sugar Shack Bar in Fellsmere. She was a member of the Red Hats Society of Barefoot Bay, she was a golfer and loved to travel.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Hanford Codd of Barefoot Bay, FL; sons Neil Codd of Mass City, MI, Rick Codd of Vero Beach, FL, Steven Codd of Barefoot Bay, FL; daughters Barbara Hill of Marquette, MI, Darlene Hautala of Benson, AZ, Patricia Hall of Port St. John, FL, Denise Luke of Micco, FL, Gail Grant of Port St. John, FL; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at St. Lukes Catholic Church.
