Shirley Jean Cole Dupree, 81, of Ft. Pierce, Florida passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Port Saint Lucie Nursing and Restorative Care Center.

She was born June 4, 1932 in Ticonderoga, NY and had been a resident of Florida since 1945, coming from her birthplace.

Mrs. Dupree was a member of Rebekahs.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Allison of Port Saint Lucie, Marilyn Irene Cole of Ft. Pierce and Sharon (Phil) Lee Cole Smith of Suwannee County, FL; brothers, Dr. Timothy (Barbara) James Cole of Pinellas County, FL and Robert (Esther) G. Cole of Lake Worth, FL.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Howard Dupree in 2007.

A gathering of friends and family will be held 11-1pm, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL. Inurnment will take place at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach, at a later date.
