Shirley Whitford Law was born August 3rd, 1931 and passed away on August 3, 2023.   Shirley was raised in Washington, NC, and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She met her husband on a blind date, but was mistakenly set up with her friend's date! However, it was magic from the start, and she married  Donald Teets Law Jr. (pre-deceased 1990) and lived in Demarest, NJ before moving to Tenafly, NJ in 1973. Shirley taught 5th Grade at the Alpine School in Alpine, NJ for 10 years.

Donald and Shirley were avid golfers, (Shirley had 2 hole in ones) and were members of the Knickerbocker Country Club and Englewood Field Club.

Shirley moved to Vero Beach, Fl in 2002, and continued her golfing endeavors at Vero Beach Country Club. She is survived by daughter Louise Law Hoyle, grandchildren Alexander John Hoyle, Elizabeth Whitford Hoyle, and Hadley Robert Hoyle; and son, Donald Teets Law III and wife, Rita Law, and grandsons Donald Teets Law IV, and Frank Whitford Law.

A private Service will be held at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
