Shirley A. Sabatino, 82, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Sabatino was born December 20, 1927 in Johnstown, PA and moved to Vero Beach 35 years ago from Miami, FL.
She had worked for Southern Insurance Underwriters in Miami and served as Deputy Clerk of the Court in Vero Beach before her retirement. Mrs. Sabatino was a volunteer for VNA / Hospice in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons Wayne Griffith of Vero Beach and Calvin Griffith of Madisonville, KY; daughters Deborah Sweeting of Lake Placid, FL and Cynthia Decker of Miami, FL; sister Jean Williams of Tryon, NC; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Matthew Sabatino, and a son Mark Ivan Griffith.
Services: A Celebration of Life Service is planned for 1 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA / Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
