SHIRLEY ZEILER
Shirley Lee (Jones) Zeiler passed away September 23, 2012, at the age of 77.
She is survived by sons Steven Burton Zeiler (Cynthia) of Oklahoma City, OK and James David Zeiler (Karen) of Port Orange, FL and grandchildren Brett Owen Zeiler and Sabrina Rachel Zeiler both of Springfield, MO and Grant David Zeiler and Hailey Lucille Zeiler of Port Orange, FL. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Jones Stimeling of Vero Beach, FL and nieces Lisa Jones of Baltimore, MD and Bonnie Martin of Fishers, IN and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Burton David Zeiler, Jr., her parents, Lee Woodrow and Etta Lucille (Tucker) Jones, and her brother Lee Woodrow Jones, Jr., all of Vero Beach.
In addition to a full life as a loving wife and devoted mother, she was a cofounder of the second Vero Beach PEO Chapter and active in the Indian River Medical Center Auxiliary. She lived her life in service to others and in so doing enriched the lives of many and will live on through their example.
Services: There will be a gathering of friends and family beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach to be followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Indian River Medical Center Foundation, Cottey College in Nevada, MO, or your favorite charity.
