Obit: Shirley M. Zimmerman
Shirley M. Zimmerman, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Rosewood Manor in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born September 29, 1925 in Gary, IN and moved to Vero Beach in 1986 from Orland Park, IL.
She had been a waitress in Chicago prior to her retirement and was a member of the First Church of God in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son Jerry Zimmerman of Vero Beach; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Zimmerman, a son Arthur T. Zimmerman, and a grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: A memorial service celebrating her life will begin at 2 PM, Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
