Silete Spears, 60, of Port Saint Lucie, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House.
Silete was born August 29, 1950 in Brusque, Brazil. She had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for seven years, coming from Brazil.
Prior to her time in America, she worked as a top model in Brazil for 10 years, and then later as a school teacher for 5 years.
Silete and Thomas traveled extensively around the world for both business and pleasure.
She is survived by her loving husband of seven years, Thomas G. Spears; son, Evandro Minato of Curitiba, Brazil; daughter, Adriana Minato Siqueira of Curitiba, Brazil; son, Alessandro Minato of Port Saint Lucie; grandson, Leonardo Minato Siqueira of Curitiba, Brazil.
A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Saint Helens Catholic Church at 2085 Tallahassee Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice at 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
