Silvio "Sam" Lattanzio, age 96, passed away July 9, 2018, at Indian River Medical Center. He was born on October 17, 1921, in Monessen, PA. Sam proudly served in the Coast Guard abroad in the USS Wakefield, AP-21 (ex-SS Manhattan) during WW II. Sam moved to Florida in 1972, worked as an electric utility supervisor for many years and chose to retire in the Vero Beach area. He is survived by his niece, Diane McCracken. Sam will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his longtime companion, Doris Richards, friends, and family.
