Sonya Anne Broderick passed away November 4, 2023 at the age of 58. She was born August 28, 1965 in Bedford, Virginia. She was the daughter of Paul and Millie Forbes. Sonya is survived by siblings Paul Forbes, Carmen Lockard and Elizabeth Bugner. Also, she is loved and missed by her significant other Ryan Burns, step-father Richard Lockard and nieces Courtney Forbes and Crystal Bugner.

Sonya relocated to Roanoke, VA and ultimately relocated to Lancaster, PA. She finally settled in Vero Beach in 2021.
She was very active and loved playing golf. She was employed by Vista Plantation Golf Club and soon became known for her friendly smile and outstanding service.

Sonya was a pet lover and her precious  pet "Chewie" (pictured in this photo) show that where she goes Chewie goes also.
We take comfort knowing that even though God has called her home, we find happiness knowing we had 50 yard line seats on her life as it unfolded and we feel so privileged to have witnessed 58 years of it.
