Dr. Stanley John Masztal, 82, of Vero Beach, FL and South Hadley, MA died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Dr. Masztal was born January 29,1926 in Poland and became a winter resident of Vero Beach twelve years ago from South Hadley.
He was a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and the National College of Chiropractic Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Masztal had a chiropractic practice in Chicopee, MA before his retirement. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Marine Corps. Dr. Masztal was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in South Hadley and had been a member of the Elks Lodge, the Masons and the Shriners.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Annie J. Masztal of South Hadley and Vero Beach; sons Michael Masztal of Melbourne, FL and David Masztal of South Hadley, MA; daughter Lynn Masztal Marois of South Hadley, MA; and four grandchildren.
Services: A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
