Stanley F. Moyer, Jr., 76, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away May 21, 2017. He was born June 13, 1940 in Mt. Ranier, MD, the son of Doris and Stanley Moyer, Sr.

He was a Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol, and before moving to Florida, he worked for many years for a printing company in Maryland.

Stan was a dispatch supervisor for Flight Safety Academy of Vero Beach for 12 years, and enjoyed a 44 year career as a high school football referee in Maryland and Florida. He was a member of the Vero Beach Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Angela (Debra) Moyer; two sons, David (Janice) Moyer of Port St. Lucie and Donald (Amy) Moyer of Rockville, MD; Step-son, Matthew Bogar of Vero Beach; step-daughter, Tina Sanabria (Ruby) of Hampton, VA; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Doris Johnson of MD, and step-brothers, James (Barbara) Johnson of NC and John Johnson of MD.

He was predeceased by his first wife Carol and his daughter Deborah.

A celebration of Stan's life will be held at Kelley's Irish Pub on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 6:00 PM.
