Stephen Marston Haviland, 92, of Vero Beach died peacefully on January 31, 2023. Born to the late Marston and Helen Haviland on November 17, 1930 in Larchmont, N.Y.. After graduating from high school he received a Bachelors Degree from NYU. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War after which Steve enjoyed a 33 year successful career at IBM. Steve enjoyed many hours on the tennis court at Orienta Beach Club, Mamaroneck, NY where he served two terms as club President. In 1990 he and his wife Margaret (Peggy) Denon relocated to Vero Beach where they were active members of Holy Cross Parish. Throughout the course of his life he was recognized for his warmth, generosity and his hearty laughter. Steve is survived by his wife, Peggy Haviland and his daughters Maureen Haviland and Sharon Billington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Ln, Vero Beach, FL
