Stephen W. Lepire of Vero Beach, Fl., age 71, passed on November 7th after a short illness at the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn. J. Lepire and his parents Roland and Lorraine Lepire.

He is survived by his loving children Stephen M. Lepire (Kyra) and Elizabeth L. Fleming (Merle), their 3 children, Aidan (17), Evelyn Grace (14), Milana (13), his siblings Judy Wilkinson (Paul), and Mark Lepire.

Stephen graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in NY before moving to Miami to continue his education and meeting Evelyn. He hung up his chef coat and went to work with Evelyn at Evelyn's Plant Care in 1996 growing their interior plant maintenance company together.

Stephen and Elizabeth continued to operate the business after Evelyn's death, the company will continue to operate specializing in orchids.

He was a devoted father and husband who spent 8 years being a caretaker in their home for his wife, Evelyn, while she suffered with frontal dementia.

His wishes were to be cremated and a gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at his home 8156 25th Street on December 3rd from 1-4. All are welcome
