Stephen J. Maillet
Stephen J. Maillet, 61, of Vero Beach died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Maillet was born September 20, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Melbourne.
Stephen was a retired Army Reservist. He was of the Catholic faith.
He received his Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University. He later received his Master's degree in Accounting from Rollins College, and became a CPA.
Prior to his retirement he worked as the Finance Director for the City of Vero Beach for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Sandra Maillet; daughters Alexandra Maillet of Vero Beach, Kimbally Maillet and her children Nils Nedrelid and Erik Nedrelid of Vero Beach and Cara Maillet and her children Johnathan Byers Jr and Anthony Byers of Vero Beach; and brother Robert Maillet of Palm Bay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Louise Maillet.

Services: A gathering will be held from 3:30 - 5:00 PM, with a service beginning at 5:00PM on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
