Steven C. Bendickson, 69, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away May 8, 2019.

He was born June 18, 1949, in Seattle, WA and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1991, coming from Seattle where he retired from Boeing.

Mr. Bendickson was active in AA South Vero Group, New Port Club and the Women's Refuge of Vero Beach.  He enjoyed racing pigeons and tending to his Finish Line Loft.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janet Bendickson; daughter, Sarah Peck of Smyrna, GA; daughter, Stephanie (Isiaih) Sullivan of Vero Beach; son, Jason Vanantwerp of Washington; granddaughter, Hayli Cruz of Orlando; grandson, Kyle Pippin of New York, NY; grandson, Zackery Pippin of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter, Hazel Sullivan of Vero Beach and sister, Vicki Ludwig of California.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Emil and Margaret Bendickson; aunt and uncle, Floyd and Sylvia Bendickson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:30 pm- 6:00 pm, Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Ryanwood Fellowship Church,  2196 54th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32966, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 pm.
