Obituary

Sulliman “Sulli” Bah, 17, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 12:44 a.m. He was born on March 17, 2009, in Columbus, Ohio.

Sulli is preceded in death by his grandfather (Papa) Donald Dill. He is survived by his mother, Chelynn Godfrey; his father, Badara Bah; his siblings, Isaiah Texidor, Isabella Texidor, Sophia Godfrey, Maxwell Bah, Naomi Godfrey, Crystal Bah, Archie Godfrey Jr. ; and his grandmother, (Grammy) Crystal Dill, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Sulli was unlike anyone else. He was funny, kind, curious, and full of life. He had a playful side and loved making people laugh, whether it was through a joke, a prank, or one of his many debates. He was never afraid to challenge someone, ask questions, or find out how something worked. His curiosity was one of the things that made him so special. He wanted to learn about everything, and he had a mind that was constantly moving toward the next idea, the next question, or the next possibility.

Sulli had a heart for people. He was the person who noticed when someone was having a bad day and checked in to make sure they were okay. He reached out to friends who were struggling, encouraged people who had experienced loss or difficult circumstances, and always wanted the people around him to be doing their best. Many young people have shared how much they looked up to Sulli and how he encouraged them to become better versions of themselves. He cared deeply about his family and friends and had a way of making people feel that they mattered.

He also had a passion for life and for the things he loved. Sulli loved boxing, Ohio State football, the Cleveland Browns, loud muscle cars, and spending time with the people closest to him. He loved learning new things and talking about his future. He had big plans for himself and often talked about becoming an entrepreneur and building a successful future. He wanted to finish high school early and eventually move back to Ohio, where he planned to figure out the rest of his future as he went. He believed he was going to accomplish great things.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Pathway Church, 1105 58th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32966. A Celebration of Sulli's Life will follow at 12 Noon. At the request of the family, no cell phones are allowed. Burial will take place at Kingwood Memorial Park in Lewis Center, Ohio at a later date.
