Sumner Harold Kalin, 91, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Kalin was born in September 24, 1916 in Everet, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1990 from Boca Raton, FL.
He had been a metallurgist at US Steel for 37 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Kalin was a parishioner at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Survivors include his brother Robert Kalin of Brownsville, TN and sister Cynthia Henkel of San Diego, CA
Mr. Kalin was predeceased by his wife Agnes Kalin and sister Freda Gates.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 3, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach followed by interment at the City of Boca Raton Cemetery Mausoleum..
