Sylvia T. Wilensky, 71 of Barefoot Bay, FL died November 23, 2008 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Wilensky was born October 14, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Barefoot Bay 21 years ago from Long Island, NY.
Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian and belonged to the Choir, Martha Circle and Caregivers Group at the church.
Sylvia earnes an Associates degree in business and accounting from Philips Collage, Melbourne, FL in 1992. She loved reading and writing poetry, and her poems were recognized by a nationally-known poetry society.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Irv; 4 sons, Jesse Wilensky of Medford, MA, Chris Wilensky; Adam Wilensky both of Staten Island, NY and Mark Wilensky of Queens, NY; and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian, 1405 Louisiana Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian.
