Theodore L. Dalbow, 92, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
Mr. Dalbow was born February 10, 1916 in Ocean City, NJ and moved to Vero Beach in1977 from Hyattsville, MD.
Prior to retirement he had been a Management Analyst for the Federal Aviation Agency. Mr. Dalbow was a veteran of WWII, serving with General George Pattons 3rd Army as part of the 71 Infantry Division in France, Austria, and Germany. For his service, Mr. Dalbow was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge and two Bronze Stars.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Sullivan of Vero Beach, a son David Dalbow, Ph.D. of Kingfisher, OK; son Douglas G. Dalbow of Oklahoma City, OK; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased in 1990 by his wife Ann Atkinson Dalbow.
Services: The family will receive friends 4-7 pm, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service, with military honors, will take place the following day at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
