Theodore J. Palaske, 97, of North Hutchinson Island, FL died Monday, December 26, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

Mr. Palaske was born May 16, 1914 in Chicago, IL and moved to North Hutchinson Island over 20 years ago from Miami, FL.

He had worked for AIRCO Air Conditioning and Heating Company in Miami, FL prior to his retirement. Mr. Palaske was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy, and was active in the Ocean Harbor Condominium Homeowner's Association.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanne Palaske; daughter Kathleen Wilber of Chapel Hill, NC; son Theodore M. Palaske of Kingsport, TN; three brothers Dan Palaske of Boca Raton, FL, George Palaske of Wellington, FL and Phil Palaske of California; three sisters Bernice Pape of Antioch, IL, Alice Podboy of Waukegan, IL and Frances Koukol of Burlington, WI; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Julie Palaske.

Services: A memorial service will take place at a later date.
