Theresa A. Henderson, age 85, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born on July 1, 1938, in Vero Beach, FL, to the late Louis and Alma (Schlitt) Wodtke.

Theresa was a life long resident of Vero Beach, FL. She had a passion for showing horses with her children in the 1970s and was a dedicated member of a bowling league, enjoying many memorable moments with her friends. In her younger days, she cherished trips to the beach with her best friend, creating lasting memories.

Theresa is survived by her son Mark Henderson and his wife, Becky; grandchildren Carrie Moore and her husband Aaron, Kristyn Borgobello and her husband Anthony, Chelsea Henderson and her husband Shayne, Melissa Massagee and her husband Tyler, Michelle Malcolm and her husband Garrett, Ryan Henderson, James Henderson, Kevin Vickers and his life partner Billy Jo; as well as 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, James "Bull" Henderson; sons, Brian Henderson and Paul Henderson; brother Louis Wodke; sister, Anna (Wodke) Sapp; and partner, Brad Booth.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Cox Gifford Seawinds funeral home with Deacon Nowak officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Theresa will be remembered for her love of life, her warm smile, and her kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
